How long: 4 Years

Where: London/ Hybrid. Apprentices will attend college one day per week to undertake both theoretical and practical training for the first three years of the apprenticeship. The final year is delivered solely in the 
workplace.

Shift work is required for this role.

Salary: £25,294  

What you'll need

  • A minimum of 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) Grade 4 - 9 (A*- C), including English and Maths
  • GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (A* - C) in Science (or equivalent) would be advantageous but not essential
  • You must be 18 years of age by 8th September 2025 to be eligible for this scheme

Job overview

Our Engineers focus on the assets that form the foundation of our transport system. You'll 
be trained on the technical upkeep of Woolwich Ferry and other terminal assets and their 
safe operation through the provision of technical and engineering support.
